A world where humanity matters more than power, curiosity overcomes prejudice, and creativity inspires us to find solutions together.

About N. M. Taylor — A Life Between Worlds

N. M. Taylor is a writer and French-to-English translator and adapter whose work reflects a multilingual, cross-cultural European perspective.
Growing up between cultures and attending an international school, she discovered early on that the world looks very different depending on where you're standing. Life as a Third Culture Kid (TCK) brought its share of challenges as well as privileges, nurturing a lifelong curiosity about people, cultures, ideas, and the often invisible forces that shape how we think, behave, and relate to one another.
With a keen sense of justice and a deep appreciation for our shared humanity, she values creativity, intellectual independence, compassion, and the freedom to question conventional thinking. Whether translating and adapting someone else's words or exploring her own experiences through writing, she seeks to build bridges between perspectives, challenge assumptions, and open up new ways of understanding ourselves and the world around us.
At the heart of her work lies a simple conviction: our differences need not divide us. They can broaden our perspectives, enrich our thinking, and help us connect in more meaningful and constructive ways.

Blog
A home for my reflections on life, society, culture, and world affairs, where curiosity meets critical thinking, personal experience fuels broader questions, and no subject is entirely off-limits.
3
Books
My personal experiences and the unsettling state of world affairs provide fertile ground for my fountain pen. My first book, Nic’s Cube, is undergoing revisions, while two more projects are already taking shape, impatient to find their way onto the page.

Countries
Shaped by life in four countries, I've learned to feel at home across cultures without belonging entirely to any one of them.
4+2
Languages
Fluent in four languages, beginner in two more. Each offers another window onto the world and another way of connecting with people.
